We've got a replacement 4x4x20 CDRW for your early iMac (the
tray models), that will get you burning CD's in no time at
all!
Installation is easy-just remove the old drive from it's mounts,
and screw the new one in. Use all your originals screws, brackets,
and circuit boards. This is a 10 minute project for the average
Mac user. Average time for Windoze users may vary +/-1hr..
Please note that the original CD front door won't just snap
on in place, but here's a picture of what your iMac will look
like when you're done. We have white and charcoal colored
drive doors.
With the new upgrade, all original CDROM and audio CD capability
is available, as well as the capability to burn CDRW discs!
